Pitbull’s debut studio album turns 12 today!

“M.I.A.M.I”, which was released August 3, 2004, is Pitbull’s debut studio album. The album title is a backronym for “Money Is A Major Issue”.

The album went Certified Gold, and ranked in the Top 15 on five Billboard charts, even reaching the No. 2 spot on the Rap Albums Chart. “M.I.A.M.I” included the Billboard Hot 100 charting hits, “Culo”, “Toma”, and “Dammit Man”.
