Pitbull recently did a narration video for game #2 of Miami Heat’s “White Hot Playoffs”.
While clips of the beloved 305 pan across the screen, Pitbull begins the video by saying, “It’s just different down here, the bottom, the magic city, Miami. Other fans can’t do it like we do it. Our nation is united by love of the city, and team.”

As reported by PitbullUpdates last year, Pitbull will be adding, ‘producer,’ to his resume as he teams up with Endemol Shine Studios to produce an upcoming Miami-set drama, “305”.
The tv-show, which is named after Miami’s area code, is a Fresh Prince of Bel-Air–esque family drama about a teen named Willy who is pulled from his rundown high-school and sent to live with his uncle, a celebrity chef, and attend the wealthiest private school in Miami. He attempts to acclimate himself to his new surroundings while dealing with relationships, family drama, work, and all the problems that more money bring.
“305,” was originally set to air on FOX, but the network ended up not taking it, which gave MTV the opportunity to pick up the drama.
“The way I look at it is, the deal we do have with FOX and Endemol is New Year’s Eve. As far as, “305,” like a true entrepreneur, things shift. FOX was interested, but didn’t take it, but MTV took it. So it just goes to show you, things happen for a reason,” said Pitbull earlier this week on CNBC’s, “Power Lunch”.
Other names working on, “305,” include script-writer, Sacha Penn, director, Jonathon Levine, and co-producer, David Ortiz.
Great news! Pitbull will be featured in an upcoming collaboration with Austin Mahone, Bobby Biscayne, and Mr. Mauricio!
Local Miami rapper, Bobby Biscayne, revealed the news on his Instagram last night with the caption, “#comingsoon @austinmahone @pitbull @mrmauricio”

Producer and long-time friend of Pitbull’s, Mr. Mauricio, also posted a photo in the studio with Austin Mahone saying, “We got a BIG record for the world.”
Although Austin, Bobby, and Mauricio were working on the track in the studio last night, it seems Pitbull cut vocals for the record three days ago, according to Mauricio’s recent post.
No word has been announced on when the song will release, or what the title of it is, but we definitely can’t wait!
Four years after his memorable concert at the 12th Annual Mawazine Festival, Pitbull will be returning to Morocco to perform at this year’s festival.
Pit will be performing at the 15th Annual Mawazine Festival: Rhythms of the World on Friday, May 27th at 8:45pm on the International Stage.

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana announced during a press-conference today that Pitbull will be returning to Dominican Republic for a concert at their resort!
“We are pleased to continue bringing internationally renowned artists of Pitbull’s caliber to our country. Our goal remains to provide our guests with constant world-class entertainment,” said Sergio Rivera, commercial director Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana.
The concert will take place on Saturday, May 28th at 8:00pm in Hard Rocks’ Fillmore Ballroom.

Pitbull made a guest appearance at Manny Medina’s annual tech conference, eMerge Americas, today at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
Pit has spoken at eMerge every year since it began, and this year was no different. He was one of the twelve keynote speakers at the two-day event.
Pitbull sat down with Mark Hoffman (CNBC Chairman), Cesar Conde (Telemundo Chairman), and Melissa Lee (CNBC Anchor) to share his insights on business strategies and speak about entrepreneurship.
Pit also stopped to do several interviews with CNBC and Telemundo before sitting down for the keynote speech.
