A week after reaching Pop Radio’s Top 40, Pitbull’s “Messin’ Around (ft. Enrique Iglesias),” has slid into the Top 30 on this week’s edition of the Mediabase Pop Radio Airplay chart!
Spun 2,132 times during the April 17-23 tracking week (+647), “Messin’ Around,” rises seven places to No. 27 on this week’s chart.
Pitbull’s newest single, “Messin’ Around,” which is his latest collaboration with Enrique Iglesias, earned Pop Radio’s most added honor. The single has been added by 80 Mediabase-monitored stations this week.
“Messin’ Around,” has been doing extremely well since its Friday release. So far, it has charted on iTunes in over 20 countries, streamed over 300,000 times on Spotify, hit over 1,000,000 views on YouTube, amassed nearly 800 radio spins in the first three days of release, made its way to Pop Radio’s Top 40, and #MessinAround trended worldwide for over four hours on April 8th, peaking at #5.
“Messin’ Around,” is Pitbull and Enrique Iglesias’ 11th collaboration, including past singles and remixes, and it is main-single from Pit’s 10th LP, “Climate Change” (out June 3rd).
The single, which includes a sample from REO Speedwagon’s 1980 hit, “Take it on the Run,” is an upbeat radio-friendly banger, that is guaranteed to make you get up and move. Take a listen above!
Pitbull will be headlining 103.5 KTU’s KTUphoria alongside good-friend and collaborator, Enrique Iglesias.
