Mr. Worldwide shared his 2017 music predictions with Billboard, where he forecasts there will be more funk-derived music hitting the airwaves.
“2016 was about that Trinidad soca/reggaeton beat hitting the airwaves. Now, I’m seeing a lot of funk coming back. People want to dance, have fun, and enjoy themselves!” said Pitbull.
And we can’t wait to see what Pit himself has planned for 2017! His tenth album, “Climate Change” is slated for release in the first half of this year and it is expected to have a variety of genres on it including reggae tracks like “Options ft. Steven Marley“, EDM tracks such as “Can’t Have ft. Ape Drums & Steven A. Clark“, rock tracks like “Bad Man ft. Joe Perry, Robin Thicke, & Travis Barker“, and house-funk tracks such as “Greenlight ft. Flo Rida & LunchMoney Lewis“.
