According to Puerto Rican congresswoman, Jenniffer González and the NY Daily News, Pitbull has been sending his private plane to Puerto Rico to help cancer patients receive treatment in mainland United States.

Congresswoman González thanked Armando for his good deed on Twitter Tuesday, saying, “Thank you Pitbull for lending your private plane to move cancer patients from PR to USA so that they can get chemo”.

Armando said his effort to rescue cancer patients in Puerto Rico, which is in total devastation due to Hurricane Maria, was the least he could do and that he is happy to help.

“Thank God we’re blessed to help. Just doing my part,” said Perez in a statement to the Daily News.
