Telemundo has officially announced today that Pitbull will be the first-ever recipient of the Latin AMA Dick Clark Achievement Award at the third annual Latin American Music Awards on October 26.

On top of receiving the inaugural award, Mr. Worldwide will be premiering his brand-new single featuring Fifth Harmony, “Por Favor“, which he will be performing with the girl band.

According the the official press release, the Dick Clark Achievement Award recognizes a Latin artist that inspires all of humanity with his dedication to music and that he uses his fame and influence to help those in need. The artist doesn’t hide in a recording studio, but gives brightness and hope to those that have no other alternative.
