Pitbull to be Named Clean Water Here Ambassador, Receive World Champion Award at United Nations

Pitbull will be heading to the United Nations to be named the ambassador for the organization, Clean Water Here.

During his visit to the U.N., Armando Christian Perez will be discussing the global water crisis on World Water Day (March 22). On top of being named ambassador, he will also be receiving the 2018 World Champion Award for his global humanitarian efforts.

While addressing the General Assembly of the United Nations, Perez will help launch the U.N.’s Water Action Decade And Clean Water Here’s Decade of Difference. Additionally, he will be on hand to open the Clean Water Here 1X global photo exhibition at the United Nations headquarters in New York City.

Furthermore, Mr. Worldwide is leading the celebrity-driven social media campaign, “Clean Water Here Cause Flash”, to raise awareness of the global water crisis. Other high-profile participants include Bruno Mars, Demi Lovato, and Maroon 5.

2018 World Water Day takes place on Thursday, March 22.
