Pitbull—real name Armando Christian Perez—attended CinemaCon 2019 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada today (April 2nd) to promote his upcoming film, UglyDolls.
Mr. Worldwide first hit the STX Films red carpet to pose for photos. Armando donned a navy-blue suit and Ray-Ban aviators as he posed for the photogs.
Then, the 38-year-old rapper, actor, and entrepreneur took the stage during STX Films’ Presentation alongside UglyDolls co-star Kelly Clarkson and STX Motion Picture Group chairman Adam Fogelson.
While onstage, Pitbull explained the reason he wanted to be a part of UglyDolls is because of the message the film sends to the youth and because he is a father himself to “a lot of kids at a lot of different ages.”
Armando also stated, “These days, you have to take the perfect picture, you have to look a certain way. It’s all about followers and likes instead of leaders and being unique.” and that’s why he thinks the message behind the movie is so important.
While leaving the event, Pitbull also graciously posed for photos with several fans. See below:
Perez voices the character, Ugly Dog, in the animated motion picture that is slated to hit theaters worldwide starting May 3rd in the U.S. and August 16th in the U.K. Other actors in the film include Kelly Clarkson, Nick Jonas, Blake Shelton, and more.
