Pitbull stopped by Univision’s Republica Deportiva today to promote his new single, “Superstar”, which is the official Copa America Centenario song.
The soccer tournament will kickoff tomorrow in Santa Clara, CA and will end in New York City on June 26. Pitbull will be performing, “Superstar” alongside Becky G as part of this historic tournament in East Rutherford, NJ prior to the final game.

The Copa America Centenario Local Organizing Committee (LOC) announced today that Pitbull has teamed up with singer, Becky G for the official Copa America Centenario tournament song “Superstar”.
The song, written and produced by Pitbull, captures the festive, global nature of the once-in-a-lifetime soccer event celebrating 100 years of the Copa America tournament. “Superstar” is the official song of this historic event taking place from June 3-26 in 10 cities across the United States.
Pitbull is no stranger to the world’s biggest sporting events, having performed alongside Jennifer Lopez and Claudia Leite at the FIFA World Cup in 2014. And Pitbull will perform, “Superstar” alongside Becky G live for the first time on Sunday, June 26 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ prior to the tournament’s final match in New York City. The pre-game concert is included in the game ticket.
“Music is universal and soccer is the world’s sport,” says Pitbull, “it’s an honor to be a part of Copa America Centenario and collaborate with Becky G on, ‘Superstars’”.
“I’m so blessed to be collaborating with my longtime friend and supporter Pitbull on ‘Superstar’. I grew up watching the Copa America with my Grandfather, so to say I’m excited to perform at this world-class soccer event, in my home country, is an understatement!” said Becky G.
Copa America, which includes half of the world’s Top 10 nations per the May FIFA Rankings, will open on Friday, June 3. The inaugural match will kick off at 9:30 p.m. ET, live on FS1, Univision, UniMas and Univision Deportes Network.
Pitbull made a guest appearance at Manny Medina’s annual tech conference, eMerge Americas, today at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
Pit has spoken at eMerge every year since it began, and this year was no different. He was one of the twelve keynote speakers at the two-day event.
Pitbull sat down with Mark Hoffman (CNBC Chairman), Cesar Conde (Telemundo Chairman), and Melissa Lee (CNBC Anchor) to share his insights on business strategies and speak about entrepreneurship.
Pit also stopped to do several interviews with CNBC and Telemundo before sitting down for the keynote speech.

While Pitbull was at eMerge Americas today, he joined CNBC’s Melissa Lee to discuss his state of mind as an entrepreneur and insight to his business strategies.
Pitbull made a guest appearance at Sony Music Latin’s Iberia Regional Conference yesterday in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where attendees apparently got a chance to listen to Pit’s forthcoming 10th studio-album, “Climate Change” (out June 3)!

Pitbull was a featured guest-speaker this morning at Cavendish Global’s Education Impact Summit in Boca Grande, FL.
He spoke alongside author, attorney, and national education reformer, Kevin P. Chavous, and Academica’s president and founding board member of the Florida Consortium of Charter Schools, Fernando Zulueta.
Pit spoke about his charter school, SLAM!, and how he’s, “making education cool again”.
Pitbull is set to guest appear on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon when they bring the show to Los Angeles on February 16th.
He will be performing alongside special guests, most likely, Robin Thicke and Travis Barker, as they will be debuting their new song the night before on the GRAMMY Awards.
Other special guests on the Tonight Show include Zach Galifianakis and Ronda Rousey.
